Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, the Account Associate supports the 4-P strategy, (Product, Price, Place and Promotion) for the JCPenney account in the Sales and Account Management organization.
This role will be based in the Dallas area and will work onsite, in our showroom or JCPenney headquarters, roughly 1-2x per month.
About the Job:
Deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly and seasonal selling reports and analysis tools
Maintain in season and pre-season sample lines to support customer, commercial and advertising needs
Manage all sizing tools and account specific product needs to ensure on time and accurate deliveries in order to reduce and prevent chargebacks
Charged with pre-season order entry management and in season planned unit maintenance
Strategically resolve order challenges in collaboration with customers and company counterparts
Provides external account partners with information on pricing and product availability
Support Senior Account Manager and team in overall sales responsibility
Develop essential internal and external relationships with key partners
About You:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or a combined 4 + years of college education and work experience
Minimum 2 years experience in a retail/wholesale apparel business or other consumer goods industry
Proficiency with MS Office applications, specifically in excel experience: strong knowledge of V-Look Up and Pivot Tables.
Enjoys sales and trend analysis
Comfortable learning new technologies and reporting tools
Confident in communicating at all levels of the business
Values cross-functional collaboration
Proactively seeks out and acts on opportunities for development

The expected starting salary range for this role is $41,900 - $55,900 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
