Key responsabilities:

  • Preparing performance and bank reconciliation reports
  • Monitoring emails, attendance, discharged loans, lost deals report, and credit card reconciliation
  • Handling payroll, lodgments including tax returns, advisable on instructions for financial modeling

About the Client:

The client’s automated loan process combined with state-of-the-art technology remove ambiguity and flags fraud instantly, keeping your safety a priority. Their data analytics and metrics create unique predictive model that guides loan decisions and keeps your business compliant and secure.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Performance reports (of the agents) ie. Scenario Management of loans, Call Reports made by agents.
  • Bank Reconciliation using QuickBooks.
  • Filing of invoices (as needed)
  • Checking of info email (enquiries received from prospect clients and/or current clients) and forward emails to appropriate agents.
  • Checking of attendance (check leaves filed by the employees and confirm approval from manager)
  • Checking of Aged AR and action accordingly
  • Checking of discharged loans
Weekly Tasks:
  • Lost deals Report - prepare a report about clients that we're not able to settle.
  • Credit Card reconciliation
Fortnightly:
  • Payroll using Quicbooks, process and pay
Lodgments:
  • IAS and BAS
  • Company Tax Return
  • STP
  • Payroll Tax if necessary
  • ASIC Annual Reviews
Others: (as needed)
  • Invoice management (AP)
  • Support to managers for queries about payroll
  • Preparation of financial statements and cashflows
  • Financial Modelling (as instructed by the Client)


Requirements
  • 3+ years of solid Australian work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk in Public Accounting practice
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures (double entries accounting system)
  • Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills
  • Familiarity with general Australian Taxation System
  • Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Excel and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent Organization skills and sense of urgency with dealing client matter
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
