About the workplace
The MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect (MCIA) will be responsible for and drive Vancity’s Anypoint Platform implementation and the technical quality, governance (ensuring compliance), and operationalization of the integration solutions
This is a Permanent, Full-Time role that will enjoy hybrid/remote working arrangements which can be fulfilled primarily from your BC, Alberta, or Ontario-based home office. You will report to the Manager, Integration.
A typical day would involve:
- Create the high-level design of integration solutions and guide implementation teams on the choice of Mule components and patterns to use in the detailed design and implementation
- Select the deployment approach and configuration of Anypoint Platform with any of the available deployment options aligning with Vancity strategy
- Design Mule applications for any of the Vancity’s deployment option of the Anypoint Platform runtime plane. Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects
- Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring and other operational concerns of integration solutions on Anypoint Platform.
- Apply standard development methods covering the full development lifecycle (project preparation, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support) to ensure solution quality
- Other duties as assigned
You have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology related field
- 2+ years of experience as MCIA – Level 1
- MCIA Certification – Level 1
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, principles, and practices
- Strong knowledge of security best practices
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
- Proven ability to provide technical guidance and coaching to team members.

The salary range for the role is $91,000 to $136,400 and a candidate’s offer is likely to be up to the mid-point of the role ($113,700). The upper half of the salary range is typically reserved for individuals who have demonstrated consistent strong performance in the role and possess a high level of job knowledge and skill.
