Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Application Solution Architect to support
KDS and our government customer.
This is a hybrid role, primarily remote but may require an occasional visit to the client site in Washington, DC. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.

Koniag Government Services is seeking an Application Solution Architect to support a public health agency client Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This individual will be energetic and committed to operational excellence. This person will have experience in supporting federal programs with a varied background and be able to support large and small teams in reaching client goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulates/defines application scope and objectives.
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
- Prepares detailed specifications.
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents.
- Education and experience: 8 years of related platform-based experience in technology solution delivery. Degree in Computer Science or related field and masters Preferred.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of experience with Agile methodology
- Experience with the ServiceNow platform and systems integration is expected
- Extensive experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM), Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Security Operations (SecOps), custom application development, and ServiceNow’s new User Interface.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

- Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment, with a client-centric culture, and an environment of high performers.
- Must be able to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.
- Must be able to work effectively with numerous stakeholder types and bring a group to consensus
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
