We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst with expertise in IT and cybersecurity to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of cybersecurity policies, threat mitigation, and a broad range of cybersecurity tools. This role requires strategic thinking, a strong background in various cyber threats, and the ability to develop long-term strategies to enhance our cybersecurity posture.
Key Responsibilities:
Cybersecurity Policy and Threat Mitigation: Develop, implement, and manage cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect the organization’s information systems.
Tool Expertise: Utilize and manage cybersecurity tools, including intrusion detection systems (IDS), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and network security solutions.
Network Security: Analyze and secure network topologies to prevent unauthorized access and ensure network integrity.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term cybersecurity strategies to address evolving threats and vulnerabilities.
Threat Knowledge: Stay current with emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Develop and execute strategies to mitigate potential risks.
Incident Response: Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents and breaches. Conduct thorough investigations and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
Collaboration: Work with other IT and cybersecurity professionals to ensure comprehensive security measures and practices are in place.
Training: Provide guidance and training to staff on cybersecurity best practices and emerging threats.

Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity policies, threat mitigation techniques, and various cybersecurity tools. Proficiency in network security, intrusion detection, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
Skills: Strong strategic planning abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of current and emerging cyber threats.
A minimum of 12 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.
Ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex security concepts clearly.
Proven ability to lead and manage cybersecurity initiatives and teams.
Ability to stay current with industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly.

Education:
Required
Preferred: Master’s in computer science, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Security Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
15 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity and IT.

Security and Privacy Duties and Responsibilities
