A day in the life (just a few of the things you may do on any given day):

  • Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
  • Coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination.
  • Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based upon evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations.
  • Develop system design solutions that satisfy the system requirements and fulfill the functional analysis.
  • Participate in the development of system engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
  • Create models using model-based systems engineering suites.

What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):

  • Experience with scripting language such as Python, Java, and Powershell
  • Experience with cloud technologies and systems engineering using associated services.
  • Experience with agile system development.
  • Ability to work remotely as part of a virtual team.
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field.
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret Federal Government clearance
  • Must successfully pass a background check and any additional customer background investigation requirements prior to employment

What we are desiring from you (i.e. the nice-to-have qualifications):

  • Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler
  • Proficient in performing systems engineering.
  • Experience with at least one model-based systems engineering tool.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services and Azure cloud computing platforms.
  • Experience engineering systems for classified, air-gapped, or high-side AWS Regions.
  • Experience with serverless development methodologies, frameworks, and AWS Services (such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.).
  • Experience with CI/CD development tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Process-oriented with great documentation skills.
