Strategic Sourcing Manager (PDUs) for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to help us expand and scale the next generation of Oracle Cloud services. Our Global Strategic Sourcing Group is responsible for strategic decisions that impact suppliers cost, technical capabilities, and supply availability to deliver hardware to our customers. A Strategic Sourcing Manager must have a blend of business knowledge and technical requirements that enables them to make the best decisions for our customers and products. The ideal candidate will use their technical knowledge to negotiate the best supplier deals that meet and support our future growth.
This Strategic sourcing role must have experience in sourcing server component hardware, with strong supplier relationships and hardware infrastructure knowledge. You will be expected to develop strategic sourcing category plans, and communicate those plans internally for cross functional alignment. A Strategic Sourcing Manager should have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to represent Oracle Cloud to senior leaders and executives at our suppliers.

Responsibilities
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in supply chain strategies for continuous cost improvement through partner negotiations. Creates supply chain standards and communicates product standards/specifications to suppliers. Conducts competitive analysis of suppliers, cost models, market analysis and supply chain alternatives. Evaluates submitted proposals/quotes against Oracle standards. Recommend and qualify new suppliers that meet both stakeholder, competitive cost and product standards. Negotiates and executes supplier contractual agreements while sustaining product competitiveness. Provide supplier performance feedback to ensure Oracle standards are achieved. Creates and implements supply chain initiatives and improvements to drive efficiencies and best practices. Develops constructive stakeholder relationships which involve direct interaction with different Oracle lines of business and Oracle suppliers. Influences product selection with stakeholders based on continuity of supply, cost, and technology.

US: Hiring Range: from $79,000 - $158,200 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
