Zilliant is looking for a Sales Support Engineer to join our Solution Engineering team. As a Sales Support Engineer, you will work with Solution Engineers to build demonstrations centered around Zilliant’s industry leading products. You will collaborate with the Sales and pre-sales teams to craft compelling storylines and define Zilliant’s value proposition. You will report to the Director of Solutions Engineering Operations.
What You’ll Do:
  • Support Sales efforts through demo configuration
  • Collaborate with customers and the pre-sales team to understand data and business use cases
  • Configure and customize Zilliant’s Software for pre-sales efforts
  • Create and deliver visual analytics to support the customer’s requirements
  • Effectively balance schedule, effort, and scope
  • Work with Product Management to understand and utilize latest platform capabilities
  • Participate in transfer of information meetings between pre-sales and services
  • Work with multi-national teams; North America, EMEA, and South America

  • Get bored – cycles come fast and in bursts.  Support efforts spike with sales activities; it is rare to work on the same initiative for a prolonged period of time.

  • The ability to take business requirements and turn them into effective demonstrations including the ability to bring a vision and opinion to stakeholders

  • High integrity, high energy, with a strong team-centered work ethic.
What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related STEM-field or relevant professional experience.
  • 0-4 years of professional experience in software applications, development, data analytics.
  • Prior work experience in a B2B SaaS organization (Preferred)
  • Skills in scripting language (Groovy, Python, JavaScript, etc) a plus
  • Exceptional technical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex use cases and data sets
  • Experience with data visualization such as Tableau or Power BI. a nice to have
  • Experience with database systems/SQL  such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, mySQL a plus
