Dexis embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion and strives to build and maintain a safe environment where we celebrate diverse backgrounds, treat everyone with respect, and value the unique lived experiences each person brings based on their race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, military or veteran status, national origin, age, marital status or family status and related conditions.

At Dexis, you will experience a corporate culture of inclusiveness, fairness, and trust. You will be given the means and mentorship needed to succeed, and your creativity will be rewarded.

Background

The Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU) has a mission to advance the knowledge and practice of Security Cooperation through the education, training, and development of the U.S. Security Cooperation workforce and through the education, training, and institutional capacity building (ICB) of partner nations; and to produce research, analysis, and lessons learned that expand the intellectual foundations of Security Cooperation.

Dexis, in collaboration with DSCU, is seeking Security Cooperation SMEs to assist in planning for, and implementing, institutional capacity building (ICB) engagements with emerging partner nations in the pursuit of mutually agreed-upon institutional capacity building objectives. These security cooperation engagements will typically be for short-term technical assistance, with the focus for each engagement being tailored to the needs of the country and to mutually agreed upon objectives. Engagements may also include curriculum development, exercise design, and workshop facilitation. Travel may be required as part of these engagements.

Dexis is currently calling for CVs for Security Cooperation experts with experience in common topics/themes for these engagements, which may include:

  • International legal studies, with a focus on defense and military law
  • Security Governance
  • Defense Management
  • Operational Planning
  • Resource Management
  • Defense Logistics
  • Cybersecurity
  • Human Capital Oversight
  • Professional Military Education
  • Partner Nation Institutional Capacity Building

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the requisite subject matter expertise;
  • Ability to produce high-quality reports in English;
  • Experienced in providing detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues;
  • Experience working with high level officials;
  • Experience working within the Department of Defense (DOD);
  • Familiarity with security cooperation initiatives;
  • Minimum DOD secret clearance.

Dexis is on a mission to help solve today’s most pressing global political, social, and economic challenges and create a world where all people are safe and prosperous. As a Dexis employee, you will be challenged, empowered, and mentored. Our motto is “find a way or make a way” — that’s how Dexis goes “all in.” How will you?
