The Role

  • Perform executive services related to the trading, marketing, transportation and distribution of fertilizers - urea, amsul,phosphates.
  • Assist in the execution of sales and purchase agreements with customers.
  • Maintain customer relationships and promote business throughout the South East Asia region.
  • Investigate new sale possibilities and provide technical assistance to existing and potential customers.
  • Liaise with government bodies, third-party traders and others on matters relating to trading activities.
  • Generate and provide updates on market developments in the South East Asia region.
  • Submit sales generating programs responsive to new market situations to ensure attainment of sales targets.
  • Create and implement strategies for the fertilizer desk for the South East Asia region.
  • Planning & Forecasting.
  • Evaluate, compile, present and submit MIS, sales and product P&L reports.
  • Conduct market research
  • Setting up of distribution channels
  • Identifying warehousing & logistics
  • Monitor stocks, and handle logistics, invoicing and payments
  • Actively seek new sales opportunities.

Ideal Profile

Requirements

  • Experienced fertilizer trader (specific expertise in urea, amsul, phosphates) with min 15 years of industry experience in sales, marketing and trading.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Energetic & Adaptable.
  • Frequent work related travel.
  • Prior experience in a leadership & team development role.
