Job description

Head of Sales Operations & Enablement


Location: This position will be based remotely and may require 25% travel as needed.


Position Overview: Alkira is seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to join our team as the Head of Sales Operations and Enablement. This leadership role will be responsible for driving the development, enablement and execution of sales strategies to accelerate revenue growth and expand market share. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of sales leadership, strategic planning, and business development in the inside and enterprise sales space, particularly within the SaaS sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership, Planning & Execution: Develop and implement sales operations strategies to align with the company’s growth objectives. Work closely with the sales leadership team to set and execute sales goals.
  • Process Optimization: Streamline sales processes and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
  • Data Analysis and Sales Performance Management: Leverage data and analytics to drive informed decision-making in areas such as territory planning and sales compensation. Create and manage sales dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics.
  • CRM Management: Oversee the optimization of Salesforce to ensure effective usage and integration with other business tools.
  • Sales Enablement: Design and implement sales training programs and tools to empower the sales team with the knowledge and resources needed to succeed.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and finance teams to align sales strategies and ensure seamless execution of go-to-market plans. Collaborate with executive leadership to set sales objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and provide actionable insights to the sales leadership team. Regularly report on sales performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Build a great team: Build and lead a high-performing sales operations team. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with at least 10 years of experience in working with enterprise sales, sales enablement, sales operations business development, or strategic planning.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate them into actionable sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, drive change, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What we offer:

  • The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $200,000 - $250,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. Your actual base salary and level will be determined on a case by case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education and location. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at Alkira.
