REGIONAL RECRUITER AND TALENT MANAGER

OVERVIEW:

As the Regional Recruiter and Talent Manager for the North American region, you will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and selecting top-tier candidates to meet KSB North America’s business needs. You will own the full-cycle recruitment process and will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining the strategies necessary to build a strong and capable workforce. You will develop and execute talent management strategies that nurture and retain existing employees. Strong relationship building skills will be imperative in this role, and you must have the capability to manage various recruiting campaigns simultaneously. To succeed in this role, you should have strong communication skills, the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders, and a strong sense of urgency when sourcing candidates for open positions. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruitment
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs
    • Develop effective sourcing strategies to identify and engage with potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, referrals, and when necessary external recruiters
    • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including resume reviews, phone screenings, and in-person interviews, to ensure alignment with both technical requirements and cultural fit
    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial contact through offer negotiation

  • Talent Acquisition
    • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future job openings within the region
    • Utilize data-drive insights to improve recruitment strategies and enhance the overall candidate experience
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting top talent
    • Identify and establish relationships with selected trade schools, technical colleges, and universities to position KSB as target employer (internships and permanent)

  • Talent Management
    • Collaborate with HR and department managers to identify high-potential employees and develop tailored development plans to support their growth within the organization
    • Manage performance appraisal processes to assess employee skills, competencies, and achievements
    • Provide guidance and support for career development and succession planning initiatives to ensure the organization has a strong leadership pipeline

  • Employer Branding
    • Contribute to the development of an attractive employer brand that resonates with potential candidates and existing employees
    • Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to create compelling recruitment materials, including job postings, social media content and employee testimonials

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of all recruitment and talent management activities using HRIS systems
    • Generate regular reports and metrics to provide insights into recruitment and talent management effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement

  • Compliance and Ethics
    • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment and talent management processes
    • Uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions with candidates and employees

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or relevant work experience
  • Certificate in HR or Talent Management considered a plus (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CIPD, etc.)
  • Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment and talent management, preferably within a regional or multi-location context
  • Strong understanding of various recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and talent management best practices
  • Proficiency in HRIS and ATS systems, experience with data management and reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written/verbal communication skills, ability to build relationships, analytical and problem-solving skills, organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and strong ability to multitask
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information

TRAVEL:

  • This position will serve KSB’s North American region and travel to various locations will be required. Full-time remote work may be considered based on experience and qualifications.
