Role and Responsibilities: The Oracle HCM Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance for Oracle HCM applications within our insurance company. This role involves troubleshooting, problem-solving, and ensuring the efficient operation of the HCM system. Key responsibilities include:
Technical Assistance: Provide first and second-level technical support for Oracle HCM applications. Troubleshoot issues related to system functionality, user access, and data integrity.
System Maintenance: Perform regular system maintenance, including updates and patches, to ensure optimal performance.
User Support and Training: Assist users with system navigation, data entry, and report generation. Conduct training sessions for new users or when new features are deployed.
Issue Resolution: Work closely with HR and IT departments to resolve technical issues. Coordinate with Oracle support for escalated issues.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of all system configurations, modifications, and troubleshooting procedures.
Compliance and Security: Ensure the system adheres to local data protection laws and company policies. Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive HR data.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance, recommend improvements, and implement solutions to enhance user experience.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels regarding system updates, outages, and resolutions.
Candidate Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with at least 8 years of experience in Oracle HCM technical support within the insurance industry.
