The Vice President of Operations will play a pivotal role in leading strategy and execution of The Junkluggers across all areas of the organization. Reporting directly to the President, the VP of Operations will be responsible for directing, administering, and coordinating all aspects of our business to support our mission, goals, and growth objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the President to develop and execute short-term and long-range plans and budgets aligned with our growth objectives.
  • Drive both new business ramp-up and year-over-year same-store sales growth by providing overall leadership, direction, and guidance to ensure consistent operations and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Establish and enhance operational policies and procedures that promote our brand identity and ensure franchisee growth, profitability, engagement, and satisfaction are at the forefront of all we do while maintaining a culture of growth and compliance.
  • Establish company-wide project management initiatives for in-depth visibility of all open projects and milestones from leadership to individual contributors.
  • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance and drive continuous improvement across all functions of our business including but not limited to marketing, appointment center, finance, national accounts, franchise operations, culture & people, and more.

Franchise Support And Engagement

  • Serve as a liaison between corporate headquarters and franchisees, ensuring their needs are met and fostering strong partnerships
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to franchisees, including assistance with compliance, training, and operational best practices.

Communication And Collaboration

  • Promote a culture of open communication, collaboration, and transparency across all levels of the organization.
  • Encourage feedback, debate, and idea sharing to drive innovation and creative problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a team leader with a track record of motivating teams to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively persuade and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong people skills and the ability to navigate matrixed relationships in a dynamic environment.
  • Even-handed approach to problem resolution and willingness to accept and respond to feedback constructively.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements and business data to inform decision-making.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in leadership and management, preferably in a franchise environment, strong preference to home services.
  • Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, and leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth organization is highly desirable.
