Job description

The Role

The client seeks a Supervising Tax Attorney with a JD or an ESQ to assist in legal communications and research tax issues. 100% remote job with lots of room for growth. Duties include drafting documents, legal research, negotiations, trial preparations, client consulting, etc. The candidate should be able to build good client relationships and provide excellent legal consulting and services for our clients.

Core Responsibilities
  • Draft and/or review legal documents and other legal materials.
  • Perform legal research, including review of legal cases, opinions, and decisions.
  • Communicate with clients, gathering necessary documents and information to build a case.
  • Verbal and written communication with other attorneys, clients, court clerks, etc.
  • Provide accurate and competent legal advice.
  • Represent clients in applications and petitions.
Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree. MBA preferred
  • JD degree required
  • Membership in any USA Bar Association, California preferred.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States full-time.
Essential Functions
  • Communicate official legal positions and responses to clients and others
  • Build and maintain good client relationships.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the practice of law.

  • Strong skills in drafting, analysis, and research.
  • Strong skills and experience with Word, Outlook, Excel, and QuickBooks.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in technical skills, work quality,

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact in a positive, engaging manner with clients
