Who you are
You are a visionary, strategic, and creative senior-level IT professional who architects, leads, and manages the delivery of cloud solutions and services to clients. You are a problem solver and decision maker skilled at working together with clients to drive innovation and provide insights and recommendations to improve our clients’ technology objectives.
You know how to:
- Design a scalable and efficient architecture for delivering managed services on hybrid public-cloud platforms.
- Define clear and standardized processes for service delivery, incident management, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement appropriate tools, software solutions, and automation frameworks.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, understanding their business requirements and translating them into effective cloud solutions.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture blueprints for clients, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
- Oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and management of clients' cloud-based systems and services.
- Optimize clients' cloud expenditure through cost-effective architecture and monitoring of usage patterns.
- Ensure all client cloud solutions comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, implementing robust security measures.
- Work closely with clients' development, operations, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions into their existing workflows and processes.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting for client cloud-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of cloud services.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for client cloud architecture, policies, and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends, recommending improvements and innovative solutions to enhance clients' cloud services.
You are skilled in most of these technologies:
- Cloud computing platforms & services (deep proficiency in at least one Cloud platform (Azure/AWS/GCP, Kubernetes), a second is preferred
- Cloud automation & orchestration (Terraform, Rundeck, Ansible, AWS Cloud Formation, Azure Resource Manager, Google Deployment Manager, Kubernetes)
- Cloud monitoring & optimization
- Cloud security & compliance
- Cloud native development & integration
One or more of the following certifications may be required:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
