This role offers the opportunity to work remotely from home while handling complex litigation matters primarily related to trucking and premises liability cases. The ideal candidate will be a licensed member of the Texas Bar with a strong background in insurance defense work, aiming to bill a minimum of 165 hours per month consistently.Duties:Manage a caseload of complex insurance defense litigation matters, focusing on trucking and premises liability cases.Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients throughout all stages of litigation.Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as required.Collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and experts to achieve favorable outcomes.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.Minimum 8 years of demonstrated experience practicing insurance defense litigation.Proven track record of billing at least 165 hours per month.Strong background in handling trucking and premises liability cases is highly preferred.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of Texas.Skills:Exceptional litigation and negotiation skills.Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently and effectively.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance.Life insurance.Short-term and long-term disability (STD/LTD) insurance.401(k) retirement plan.
