Job Highlights

As our Category Manager for Business Services, you will be responsible for the procurement of indirect spend and the development of strategies for business services categories such as Facility Management, Professional Services (HR and Consultancy), Marketing and Communications, Travel and Mobility, and Finance Services.

  • Develop and implement a category strategy and an approved plan for Business Services categories
  • Create, negotiate, and manage contracts with service providers for Business Services categories
  • Take ownership of the development and implementation of the strategy for Indirect Spend in the Category and assign priorities for purchasing projects
  • Lead global cross-functional purchasing discussions with lead buyers for the Business Services categories
  • Key account management for key suppliers. Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers and track their performance (SDP, Supplier Development Program)
  • Deliver year-over-year savings and implement cost reduction initiatives
  • Manage knowledge sharing, collaboration, and proper communication between Category managers and buyers within the Category by providing strategy and deep cluster expertise and ensuring the use of standardized processes
  • Manage relationships with internal customers during projects
  • Improve and reinforce the Envalior Purchasing profile and recognition within the internal customer community


Requirements

The right candidate we are looking for:

  • Has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in procurement and/or relevant technical discipline
  • Has a deep knowledge, understanding and experience in the indirect procurement of Business Services with minimum 8 years of work experience
  • Has a strong analytical skill and spend analysis skill
  • Is collaborative and a team player who is flexible and able to navigate uncertainty
  • Has a capability of working in a fast paced and often changing environment
  • Is fluent in English language
