Location: Remote (United States)
As a Senior SDET, You Will:
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions and translate functional and technical requirements into comprehensive test cases and test scripts.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and performance tests to ensure the robustness of our software applications.
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using approved tools, focusing on maintaining high test coverage and efficiency.
- Write and execute API and Webservice tests using Java libraries such as JUnit and TestNG.
- Evaluate software performance and current test methodologies, recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage defects and collaborate with development staff to resolve issues promptly, ensuring timely delivery of quality software.
- Plan and estimate testing efforts in collaboration with the project team, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
- Primary assignment to one project while also collaborating with Quality Engineers from multiple projects.
To Be Successful, You Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, including Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python), Cypress, or similar JavaScript testing frameworks.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Rest Assured, Karate, and Postman.
- Familiarity with source control systems like Git and experience in building and maintaining CI pipelines using Jenkins/GitLab.
- Knowledge of database testing principles and mobile testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, and experience with Azure Sitecore and Appian Process automation is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional Agile teams.
- Experience with low code testing automation tools is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Permanent Residency or US Citizenship required.
