The Move, Add, Change (MAC)
Lead is responsible for managing all activities related to the movement,
addition, and change of infrastructure and services within a secure
environment. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at
least 3 years of relevant experience, and an active TS/SCI Clearance. The MAC
Lead will hold an RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer)
certification and will oversee the coordination and implementation of MAC
requests, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and adherence to
organizational standards.
This position is contingent
upon contract award.
Essential Duties
and Responsibilities:
· Oversee the
planning and execution of moves, adds, and changes of telecommunications and IT
infrastructure.
· Collaborate with
various departments to assess needs, plan schedules, and execute MAC orders
efficiently.
· Ensure that all
MAC activities are performed in compliance with organizational policies,
security protocols, and industry best practices.
· Coordinate with
IT, facilities, and security teams to manage the logistics of physical and
network changes.
· Maintain accurate
documentation of all MAC activities, including detailed records of changes made
to the infrastructure.
· Provide
leadership and guidance to the MAC team, ensuring that all members are trained
and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
· Communicate
effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and keep them informed of
progress and any potential issues.
Requirements
Education and/or
Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree
in a related field is required.
· 3 years of
relevant experience in managing MAC activities within a telecommunications or
IT environment.
Certifications,
Licenses, Registrations:
· RCDD (Registered
Communications Distribution Designer) certification is required.
Security
Clearance:
· Must possess an
active TS/SCI Clearance.
Knowledge, Skills,

· Strong
understanding of telecommunications and IT infrastructure, including cabling
systems, network configurations, and equipment installations.
· Proficiency in
project management and coordination, with the ability to manage multiple MAC
orders simultaneously.

and team management abilities, with a focus on training and development.
· Effective
communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with
various levels of management and staff.
· Ability to
troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MAC activities promptly.
· Familiarity with
security protocols and clearance requirements within a secure environment.
Work Environment:
This position will be
primarily on-site at the Pentagon Reservation, where the MAC Lead will work
within secure facilities and must comply with all security protocols. The role
may involve travel to various sites for data collection and project management.
While the opportunity to work from home may be available, it is not guaranteed
and will depend on the specific requirements of the role and managerial
discretion. Due to the nature of the position, there may be occasions that
necessitate availability and action outside of standard working hours.
