Job Purpose Summary**
As an Area Director at Corza Medical, you will play a crucial role in our mission to enhance the success of our Biosurgery division. In this role, you will report to the General Manager of Biosurgery for the US & Canada and will lead a team of Key Account Managers (KAMs) within assigned region. This role is an integral part of the Biosurgery Sales Leadership team and works closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and other key stakeholders to achieve business results. **
What You Will Do**
- Hire, train and retain a diverse, highly motivated team of Key Account Managers while providing ongoing career coaching, growth, and development opportunities
- Ensure that the team have the tools and knowledge necessary for effective decision making and are best prepared for delivering results
- Maintain contact with major accounts within assigned region and assist KAMS with maintaining relationships, negotiating, and closing deals
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to expand our market presence and increase product sales
- Contribute to the development of the annual sales plan for the Biosurgery acute care business in the US
- Establish sales and market targets, identify, and address key issues, implement customer penetration, and acquisition initiatives, set objectives and annual sales plans for the team
- Lead team in the development and execution of sales strategies focused on driving top and bottom-line results, increasing market share and customer satisfaction, enhancing customer support, and introducing new products and services
- Remain current on industry and market trends, and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the Corza Medical's products, markets, and objectives
- Play an important role in the development and implementation of sales strategies related to National Accounts, IDN’s and GOPs
- Review and negotiate annual commercial agreements, ensures that all agreements meet the long- and short-term needs of the company
- Prepare and gain approval for annual sales expense budget for region and provide timely and accurate status reports
- Responsible for the effective implementation of proprietary sales management tools ( AcuityMD )
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree required and Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5-10 years surgical selling experience with consistent operating room presence
- Minimum of 5-10 years successful track record managing a high performing sales team within surgical and/or medical equipment sales
- Lead and manage a team of high performing sales representatives, provide transparent communication to assess performance and identify areas for development and continual improvement through feedback and coaching
- Give clear direction to the team, remove barriers, and hold self and others accountable.
- Train and guide sales representatives on the clinical application of Corza Biosurgery product(s), including animal lab set up and execution
- Proven success with business-to-business revenue growth of a technical product/service within a customer centric sales environment
- Develop salesforce casting to analysis and track sales activities of sales team, to identify gaps, and implement solutions to validate or determine the direction of the business strategies
- Strong financial and business acumen; good analytical and decision-making skills; ability to prepare, write, and implement effective sales plans
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams in achieving key metrics and strategic goals/targets for the Biosurgery business plan
- Sound clinical/procedural knowledge across multiple target surgical specialties (Cardiac, General Surgery, HPB, Urology, Neurosurgery, GYN)
- Experience working in an operating room with proven knowledge of Open, MIS and Robotic surgical techniques

- Ability and willingness to travel 35% - 50% of the time
