Job description

This is a remote position.

  1. Act as the intermediary between designers, clients, consultants, and architects so that projects remain efficient and effective.
  2. Working with stakeholders, who are responsible for producing the project information models.
  3. Ensuring that BIM execution plans are produced and maintained for each project as and when required.
  4. Training colleagues in specific software programs.
  5. Ensuring staff have access to the tools and equipment they need.
  6. Producing monthly reports for senior managers, to understand the status of all projects.
  7. Leading meetings to identify project tasks and resolve issues.
  8. Estimation of BIM projects.
  9. Adhering to the latest industry standards.
  10. Creating Architectural, Mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical models.
  11. Reviewing and working on Cobie parameters.
  12. Creation of construction document sets based on design drawings.
  13. Revit families’ creation.
  14. QA /QC of BIM Projects.
  15. Clash reports, BOQ, Schedule sheet, Shop Drawings, quantification details.
  16. Assist Project Managers with the estimation and scoping of new project opportunities.
  17. Meet with consulting companies from time to time to review their capabilities for collaboration.
  18. Willingness and flexibility to take on other duties and responsibilities.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Effective communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of BIM procedures and standards
  • Must have experience handling USA projects independently
  • 5+ years utilizing Autodesk Revit Architecture and/or Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in project management and capable of leading the BIM Coordinator activities for a large project
