What does a “day in the life” of my new team look like?The role of Senior Contract Manager for PSR is to ensure robust contract management for the PSR Team. PSR is a UK Central Government framework that currently provides Contingent Workers, Statement of Work and Recruit, Train Deploy resources into over 140 government and public sector organisations.You will be responsible for ensuring robust contractual governance, negotiation of new contracts and mitigation of risk and will be responsible for the line management of a dedicated Contract Specialist and works closely with the Senior Leadership and Relationship Management Teams on PSR as well as Legal, Compliance and Commercial.

Key Responsibilities: - Negotiation and sign-up of public sector customers to Call Off Contracts under the PSR Framework - Supporting implementation of the new Framework Agreement, including drafting and negotiation of contracts - Managing the administration of the full PSR suite of contracts - Managing all requests for contract variations, ensuring the correct information and approvals have been obtained prior to drafting, tracking responses and managing AMS’ counter signatures - Amending contract templates and related documentation, issuing the same to Customers and Suppliers, managing version control - Respond to queries on the PSR suite of contracts (Framework Agreement, Call Off Contracts with Customers, Supplier Contracts, Umbrella Company Contracts and Worker Terms), liaising with the Legal Team as appropriate - Engage with clients directly where needed, including during negotiation, complex governance conversations and/or contractual disputes if they arise - Support the PSR Teams through all contractual change requests, helping them assess how change impacts the contract. Determine when contractual change is required, approve contractual changes, and provide drafting support, liaising with legal as needed - Liaising with the contingent worker administration and supplier management teams to support for reviewing and responding to requested contract changes from Worker and Suppliers - Facilitate robust contract risk management - Educating and engaging the PSR Relationship Team on our Contracts and their relevance to day-to-day operations

What do I need to succeed in this role? Must haves:__ - Confident with understanding complex commercial contracts, schedules and associated documents - Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial (e.g., procurement / supply chain / recruitment) contracts and variations, NDAs and novation agreements - A strong understanding of liabilities and indemnities - Experience in working on multiple projects at once, moving from granular detail to high level overviews - Can determine the needs of internal and external stakeholders of all levels and engage and influence appropriately, building and maintaining productive relationships - Rigorous attention to detail, analytical, able to interpret contract terms and conditions - Senior stakeholder management experience with the ability to use own experiences and other sources of complex information to quickly process and understand key issues, make recommendations, and then clearly articulate the operational impact/risk to AMS or our clients

Nice to haves : - Public Sector Experience - particularly central government processes, principles, regulations and directives - Proven track record of managing complex documentation. - Good understanding of GDPR and IR35 regulations - Legal background – understands contract drafting - Commercial awareness - Experience in outsourced recruitment processes - Experience in using electronic signature platforms

Who will I be working with?AMS has recently been awarded the new Workforce Solutions Framework (WSF), a notable renewal and expansion with the UK government to run the new version of the Public Sector Resourcing (PSR) programme until 2030.There will be a significant expansion of the contract from three service lines to eight, with a series of feature enhancements for the benefit of the workers, suppliers, and users of the service.
