C++ Online Services integration: Integrates Online Services API into the game, Authentication, Matchmaking
Great studio – Console and PC
– Work would be 95% client side communication with backend (C++)
– Integrating 3rd party platform and console Online SDKs (Playfab, EOS, XBox, Playstation Net)
– Abstracting some of the complexity for game team by writing Interfaces between game & Platform SDKs
– Prototyping in game UI/Menus (Unreal Engine) for some features
– Features they might work on include: Matchmaking, Friends & Parties, Stats, Achievements, Cloud Save, Authentication, Battle Pass, Character customization, Player progression etc..
