Description

Public Consulting Group (PCG) is a leading public sector management consulting and operations improvement firm that partners with health, education, and human services agencies to improve lives.

We are looking for an Epic Optime Analyst. Your primary role will be to collaborate with various stakeholders, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to understand their workflow requirements and translate them into efficient and effective system configurations within the Optime module. You will work closely with the IT team, clinical staff, and other analysts to analyze, design, build, test, and deploy Epic Optime functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Implementation: Lead the implementation and configuration of the Epic Optime module, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements and best practices. This includes setting up surgical preference cards, scheduling templates, case management workflows, instrument tracking, anesthesia documentation, and other relevant features.
  2. Workflow Analysis: Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze existing workflows, and identify opportunities for process improvements. Translate these requirements into system design specifications and configure the Optime module accordingly.
  3. System Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for the Optime module, including investigating and resolving system issues, performing system maintenance, and ensuring data integrity and security. Work closely with end-users to address their concerns, provide training and education, and promote adoption of Optime features.
  4. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the accuracy, functionality, and reliability of the Optime module. Coordinate with end-users to perform user acceptance testing and facilitate timely issue resolution.
  5. Documentation and Training: Create and maintain documentation, including user guides, training materials, and system configuration documents. Conduct training sessions for end-users to promote system understanding and proficiency.
  6. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including clinicians, IT staff, project managers, and other analysts, to ensure successful system implementation and ongoing support. Communicate project status, issues, and risks to relevant stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
