Job Description:	The selected candidate will be responsible to perform in the role of a Product Owner for any of the four workstreams in Space Workstreams Transformation (Product Design, Program Performance Management, Material Delivery Process, and Build and Test) and to translate the customer vision into workable backlog products (Epics, Features and User Stories) for the IT Development team, develop tests for the user stories, test and manage defects to closure. The candidate will be expected to be results oriented, to learn new business and technical functions quickly from the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), decompose the customer's vision into backlog for the development team and to understand technical feasibility with a focus on delivering best in class products. The focus is on event driven architecture, process automation, orchestration, and visualization. Minimum Requirements: (Education, years of experience, specific skills or tools, etc.)	Mandatory Requirements: US Citizen Required Minimum of 7 years of software implementation experience and managing all stages of product life cycle Experience performing the role of the Product Owner (agile) or Systems Engineer (waterfall). Experience in preparing for Program Increment (PI) Planning, engaging in PI Planning sessions, and working with the development team on sizing user stories. Background in working closely with the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate the customer vision into Concept of Operations, Roadmap and high-quality backlog (Epics/Features/User Stories) with value statements and clear acceptance criteria. Experience in prioritization of the backlog based on customer vision and roadmap to translate to. Ability to develop test plans for user stories, execute tests, track defects and manage defects to closure. Experience developing User Acceptance Test (UAT) scripts and manage UAT. Experience in developing innovative approaches to translate the customer vision, dependent on the scope and circumstances. Experience with JIRA and Mural Experience with SAFe Desired Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers/stakeholders to formulate and implement enterprise-wide business, organization, and information technology approaches. Expected to coordinate as needed with development team to support Business Areas defined requirements/required work. Technical background with knowledge of software development. Experience gathering requirements for data from various sources and understanding business process flows in preparation for data extraction. Knowledge of PLM applications development and deployment. Ability to work in a virtual environment and teams.
