Recruiter**
We are looking for a Recruiter to help us find and recruit amazing people to join the Alma team. You will report directly to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, help develop Alma’s approach to best-in-class hiring practices, and partner with hiring managers to recruit diverse and high impact team members.
As a critical hire on the People team at Alma, you will also play a key role in helping Alma build an inclusive company culture.
The ideal candidate is one who’s not afraid to dive into a team that’s scaling quickly and come to the table with strong opinions, loosely held. **
What you’ll do:**
- Report to the Manager of Talent Acquisition to help build and scale the operations, marketing, sales, people, finance, and legal teams.
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, from sourcing to closing.
- Build strong partnerships hiring managers and interviewers to fully understand their needs. You’ll work together on job descriptions, sourcing strategies, interview plans, and closing.
- Build and provide data-driven insights to team leaders to elevate and improve our recruiting processes and strategies.
- Participate in designing and coordinating initiatives to foster an inclusive work environment at Alma.
- Be a key contributor on recruiting projects and programs, which could include employer branding, recruiting operations, training, and more.
Who you are:
- You have 3-5 years of recruiting experience, including 1+ years of full-cycle in-house recruiting.
- You have experience with recruiting tools (we use Greenhouse, GEM, and LinkedIn Recruiter).
- You move with urgency, transparency, and intention to drive your pipelines and close your requisitions.
- You are a human first person. You build trust quickly and take those relationships seriously.
- You are an effective communicator, both in being able to tailor your messaging to a variety of candidates, and not being afraid to coach and provide feedback to interviewers and hiring managers.
- You are a creative and inclusive sourcer. You enjoy problem-solving to figure out how to build your pipelines.
- You enjoy learning about different parts of the company and how they work and can quickly discern when a candidate is a fit for a role across various departments.
- You care about data-driven goals and use the tools available to you to improve your understanding of reporting and metrics.

Salary Band: $90,000 - $115,000
