Who We Need:

We are currently seeking a Business Development Representative to join our growing team.

Our new Business Development Representative will be a highly driven self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a true passion for excelling in business development and sales. You will take charge of prospecting new business opportunities, nurturing existing relationships, delivering exceptional customer service, and expanding our digital footprint through digital marketing campaigns. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization’s future growth and success.

As a Business Development Representative, you will:

  • Conduct outbound and inbound prospecting and lead generation to build relationships and schedule in-take calls with potential clients.
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails to explore sales opportunities.
  • Initiate and oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as potential sales opportunities.
  • Track and analyze the performance of digital campaigns to measure effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify client needs and offer appropriate products and services with tailored solutions.
  • Lead all steps in the sales cycle, including prospecting, identifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness in connecting with new clients and diligently following up on communications.
  • Commitment to building client relationships and loyalty through personal interactions and maintaining a client portfolio.
  • Maintain exceptional communication with the client, management staff, and peers to ensure effective feedback sharing.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the digital marketing/sales space.
  • Ensuring all communication is accurately recorded and managed within our ATS system.

You Will Bring:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of successful experience in IT staffing sales, business development and marketing.
  • Exceptional communication, written, presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Proven experience with IT sales/IT staffing.
  • Proven experience executing and managing digital marketing campaigns. Experience with HubSpot is an asset.
  • Experience with RFPs, RFQs would be considered an asset.
  • A strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities, results-focused, and a strong team player, while also thriving working autonomously.
  • Demonstrated integrity, client focus, and a commitment to ethical and moral conduct in client services.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You must be comfortable working in a startup environment.

Work Type:

  • Remote - Toronto

Compensation:

  • $50,000 - $60,000 + Bonus
