The Technical Consultant assumes a pivotal role in providing advanced support to both internal teams and clients within the PrimePay ecosystem. This involves a specialized focus on intricate SQL database operations, encompassing the design of complex queries, optimization of database performance, and resolution of intricate issues. Beyond technical database proficiency, the role requires a comprehensive understanding of the Human Capital Management (HCM) domain, with prior experience in building and implementing SaaS solutions in HR, benefits, and payroll.

Responsibilities Include:Report Writing and Custom Queries: - Evaluate and choose appropriate report writing tools based on specific business requirements, ensuring compatibility with the organization's data infrastructure and user needs - Document custom queries, configurations, and best practices within report writing tools, facilitating knowledge sharing among team members and ensuring reproducibility - Formulate and write custom queries within report writing tools to extract targeted data sets, addressing unique business needs, and ensuring precise data representation

Integration and API Proficiency: - Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehensively scope integration requirements and understand the specific data exchange needs between systems - Conduct thorough analysis to determine the complexity and scale of integration projects - Implement CSV file-based integrations when appropriate, ensuring data consistency, and facilitating smooth data transfer between systems - Evaluate the feasibility of using Workato for system integrations, leveraging its capabilities to streamline and automate data flows between applications - Utilize Workato's features to create and configure integrations, ensuring compatibility and efficiency in data exchange processes - Stay abreast of emerging integration technologies and industry best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance and optimize integration processes - Document integration processes, configurations, and methodologies, facilitating knowledge transfer among team members and ensuring replicability

Elevated Technical Skills: - Facilitate meetings to analyze the client’s technical requirements on complex reporting and workflow solutions - Act as a subject matter expert and power user to the organization in all things PrimePay and provide training and/or adoption toolkits on enhanced processes and new functionality - Able to work directly with clients to understand project needs and goals from a technical solution standpoint - Discussing potential projects and their parameters with clients, executives, and software developers

Qualifications: - Has the ability to understand and interpret HCM business requirements and how they relate to PrimePay software solution - Prior experience building and/or implementing SaaS in HCM space - Ability to read, write, and execute SQL queries - Advanced knowledge of report writing concepts and experience with report writing tools - Experience working with clients to determine query and/or report building requirements - Advanced Excel skills - Swiftly master the intricacies of the product, demonstrating self-sufficiency and a proactive approach to discovering solutions - Understand implementation methodologies as applicable to SaaS and full software configuration. - Understanding of how REST API’s work and/or experience working with tools such as Postman, Mulesoft, etc - Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to manage competing priorities successfully - Curious and motivated to find solutions and/or create pathways for resources to solve problems - Comfortable with ticket system to manage workflow, i.e., Salesforce, Inspire Planner, etc - Experience working with an ETL tool is a plus
