Job Description

General description of the job:


The Recruiter is responsible for the recruitment of all Talent for translate plus. This is a hybrid role recruiting both permanent as well as freelance Talent depending on the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

Permanent Talent Recruitment:

  • Writing of job advertisements for a variety of in-house positions
  • Screening applications
  • Salary negotiations
  • Vetting details and taking up references
  • Arranging interviews
  • Arranging and evaluating interview tests
  • Actively head-hunting people via LinkedIn and other sources
  • Participation in interviews
  • Administrative tasks around recruitment

Freelance Talent Recruitment

  • Actively recruiting freelance vendors: professionals of various services (linguists and other creative language services professionals)
  • Building internal database
  • Negotiating terms and rates to fit within client's budget
  • Screening applications and portfolios from potential vendors
  • Shortlisting the most suitable suppliers to work on specific projects
  • Building a strong relationship with vendors
  • Handling queries from vendors and internally
  • General administrative tasks (e.g. gathering documents, CVs, etc.)

Qualifications

Skills and competence requirements:

  • 2-3 years recruitment experience
  • Excellent command of English both spoken and in writing (other languages are a bonus)
  • Pro-activeness to approach permanent Talent not currently looking to change position
  • Ability to handle sensitive topics (salary/rate negotiation, quality-related concerns, etc.)
  • Capacity to adopt an individual approach towards vendors from different backgrounds and cultures
  • Good computer literacy (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, other applications are a bonus)
  • Ability to multitask and work with tight deadlines
  • Experience with Applications tracking systems (ATS) would be a bonus
