What you will do

The Global Program Manager will be part of the Global Field Operations Team and will be responsible for the strategic growth of each account assigned, leveraging strategic partnerships with the executive leadership of these clients based across all domains (HVAC/Controls, Fire, Security, & Digital.)  The Global Program Manager should have a proven track record of overseeing a portfolio of successful projects, in-depth stakeholder management, and the development of client standards.  The Global Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that all program managers, sales team members, leadership, and local field contacts understand the processes, strategic goals, and operational processes that have been developed for each of your assigned accounts.

In this role, you are the voice of direction to the domain on achieving the expected quality for delivery on all projects awarded to JCI. Both the Strategic Account Executive & GPGM will instruct the teams on the vision and strategy on how to succeed in meeting the growth numbers provided by leadership.

What you will do

 How you will do it

  • Ensures teams and processes function effectively and efficiently in an operationally disciplined manner aligned to the GFO, Central Operations methodology
  • Resolve challenges and address opportunities related to the HVAC/Security and our other domain portfolios
  • Track progress, identify issues, and develop action plans specific to HVAC/Security and our other domain projects
  • Adhere to the internal solution development process and hold team members accountable for related deliverables.
  • Manage issues, risks, and opportunities to ensure the program schedule is maintained
  • Prepare for and report on program status at regular reviews
  • Plan, strategize, and influence priorities and decisions to improve customer satisfaction in our solutions
  • Consistently works on alignment with account strategies and needs to enable growth.
  • Continuously works with regional/in-country sales leaders to understand challenges, gaps, and opportunities for better alignment and customer support in service and installations.
  • Works closely with the Strategic Account Executive to support HVAC/Security and our other domain RFPs, address customer obligations and issues quickly and appropriately to ensure customer satisfaction and account health.
  • Works closely with global installation and engineering leaders to ensure strategic policies are in place to drive successful project planning, equipment delivery, commissioning to customer and company standards, and delivering on-time projects within budget

What we look for

 Required/Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, HVAC Technology (preferred) and/or Security, or a related field
  • PMP certification or other applicable Project Management certifications preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of experience managing HVAC (preferred) and/or Security or our other domain programs/projects or working on a program team as a functional lead
  • Experience leading Regional or Global HVAC (preferred) and/or our other domain Security programs
  • Strong understanding of HVAC (preferred) and/or Security or our other domain systems, program management, and customer support models for global accounts
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to operate successfully in a matrix organization
  • Ability to influence without authority and a strong business acumen
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and execution capability
  • Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful when managing changing timelines and multiple deliverables.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving processes and reporting tools, such as SmartSheet, Microsoft Task by Planner, and Microsoft PowerPoint
