We are looking for a Sr. Windows .NET Framework Engineer to join our fast-paced, dynamic DevOps team. In this role, your primary focus will be on enhancing operational reliability, performance, and security across our platforms. You will support multiple SaaS environments, resolve security issues, perform framework and library upgrades, and contribute to internal tool development and containerization initiatives.
This opportunity allows you to work with cutting-edge technologies, modern software development practices, and a collaborative team aiming to modernize and streamline software delivery and platform operations.
Location: Must reside and have work authorization in Latin America.
Availability: Must be available to work with significant overlap with Mountain Standard Time (MST).
The Ideal Candidate Has:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in .NET web application development.
Hands-on experience upgrading Windows .NET Framework applications from legacy versions (e.g., 3.5) to 4.8 and beyond.
Experience with modern .NET technologies including .NET 8.x.
Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
Experience with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Knowledge of .NET Interop with Windows SDK (Win32).
Background working with monolithic codebases and migrating them to modern architectures.
Strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams, especially in DevOps environments.
Excellent communication skills in English (C1 preferred, strong B2 may be considered).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the modernization of legacy Windows .NET Framework 3.5 applications to .NET Framework 4.8 and transition to .NET 8.x where appropriate.
Develop internal tools that streamline DevOps workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with the DevOps team on CI/CD pipeline development, integrating testing, code analysis, and live security scanning.
Participate in security testing and implementation of secure coding best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, contributing to overall system reliability and performance improvements.
