This is a remote position.

Role Name: E-commerce Assistant

Schedule:

  • 4 hours per day, 5 days per week (20 hours total)

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Client Timezone: New Zealand (NZST)

You'll play a vital role in helping manage the day-to-day e-commerce operations while contributing to marketing initiatives that drive business growth. Scope:

  • 4 hours per day, 5 days per week (20 hours total)

  • Working hours: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM New Zealand time, Monday to Friday

  • Supporting both online Shopify store and physical retail operations

  • Focus on marketing, customer service, and operational efficiency


Responsibilities:
  • Manage and upload new products to Shopify website on a weekly basis

  • Process and fulfill customer orders through the e-commerce platform

  • Create and manage weekly email newsletters and marketing campaigns

  • Develop graphics and advertisements for marketing purposes

  • Manage social media presence and engage with Facebook groups

  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries

  • Assist with inventory management and product organization

  • Support general e-commerce operations and administrative tasks



Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of e-commerce experience

  • Proficiency with Shopify platform

  • Social media management and marketing skills

  • Graphic design capabilities for creating marketing materials
