The Senior Manager, Quality & Food Safety is a member of the North America Operating Unit (NAOU) Supply Chain Technical organization. This role is responsible for assuring that all bottling operations manufacturing for, or on behalf of The Coca Cola Company are producing products of the highest quality, both safely and sustainably, and in accordance with company standards, policies, practices, and procedures. This role will ensure programs are developed, maintained, and monitored is to ensure adherence to food safety regulations

We are looking for an experienced individual, with a proven track record in driving exceptional quality performance, continuous improvement, risk mitigation and regulatory compliance within a large FMCG organization, seeking exposure with one the World’s largest and most successful food and beverage Companies, leading to future technical career opportunities within the Coca-Cola system.

What You’ll Do for Us:

  • Develop, manage, monitor performance, and improve the organization’s quality and food safety programs, specific to all the products and processes.
  • Monitor and audit the effectiveness of food safety and quality systems, ensuring compliance with local, national, and organizational guidelines.
  • Implement QFS strategies and policies to protect and enhance TCCC resources, assets, trademarks and corporate reputation.
  • Lead QFS programs for the NAOU SC to include, but not limited to HACCP maturity, EMP, Sensory Program, Micro Proficiency and any other QFS programs required by the technical governance framework or manufacturing practices.
  • Reporting the performance of food safety and quality systems to key stakeholders.
  • Provide direction and leadership in areas of QFS to build a high-performing food safety and quality culture.
  • Lead and coordinate activities for managing food safety and quality risks across operational units.
  • Provide guidance, support, and organize training to key stakeholders on quality and food safety policies and global initiatives.
  • Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report quality and food safety performance.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders and third-party contractors to ensure quality and food safety programs are adequately managed and implemented.
  • Continuously stay updated with new food safety regulations and quality practices, incorporating necessary and/or recommending changes into the company’s QFS program.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in food sciences, food safety, microbiology, or related field.
  • HACCP & PCQI certification required.
  • Extensive experience with QFS in food or beverage processing,
  • Experience managing quality in co-manufacturing environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations, quality and food safety program development and implementation are crucial for this role.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills (written, oral and presentation)
  • Experience with comprehensive root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies. Demonstrated examples of use of these tools in the solving of quality problems/risk.
  • Understanding of importance of technical governance in delivering a quality product
  • Demonstrated evidence of critical thinking, logic, patience, reasoning, empathy, continuous learning, and development

Travel Required:  51-75% Travel within North America & Canada

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
