Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy HR Generalist to join our team. This role is not just a traditional HR Generalist position; it requires a strong focus on HR Technology, Systems, business process improvement, and HRIS modernization. The ideal candidate will have a blend of HR expertise and IT knowledge to drive the modernization of our HR processes and systems.

This role is based on position availability and funding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HRIS Modernization: Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of HRIS systems to streamline HR processes and enhance data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Technology Integration: Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate new technologies and systems that support HR functions and improve overall efficiency.
  • Business Process Improvement: Analyze current HR processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization. Implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce manual efforts.
  • Data Management: Ensure the integrity and security of HR data. Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Employee Support: Provide support to employees and managers on HRIS and other HR technology-related issues. Conduct training sessions to ensure effective use of HR systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to HR technology and data management.
  • Project Management: Manage HR technology projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, and post-implementation review.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years focused on HRIS or HR technology projects.
  • 5+ years of proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), data analysis tools, and project management software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) and IT certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with cloud-based HR solutions and data integration
  • Familiarity with business process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices in data security

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$98,124.00 - $166,810.00
