The Role:

As a Medical Writer at GenesisCare, you’ll be responsible for creating accurate, engaging, and accessible clinical content that supports our commitment to world-class patient care. From patient information leaflets to website copy and clinical papers, your work will span a wide range of cancer conditions and the innovative treatments we offer.

What You'll Do:

  • Clinical content development and review across patient and professional audiences
  • Translation of complex medical and scientific material into accessible formats
  • SEO and regulatory alignment to ensure clinical content meets business and compliance needs
  • Collaborative cross-functional working with internal teams and external stakeholders

What You'll Have:

Experience and skills:

  • 3–5 years of experience in medical writing, ideally within oncology or a healthcare-related field.
  • Previous experience in developing patient-facing content is required.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong ability to translate clinical content for patient consumption.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate, and compliant content.

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • A degree in a relevant scientific or medical field, or equivalent experience

Other requirements for this role:

  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK for team meetings or relevant conferences
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote setting
