Step into a high-impact leadership role as the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Purchasing System Compliance, where you'll spearhead purchasing system compliance across Collins Aerospace’s dynamic Mission Systems and Aviation business units. You'll collaborate closely with business leaders to navigate the complexities of US Government purchasing system requirements, manage risk, and drive compliance excellence. This position offers the unique opportunity to guide a dedicated team of compliance professionals and team leaders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and process innovation.

As a subject-matter expert, you'll coordinate and support critical audits, champion regulatory and policy adherence, and develop training and tools that empower the Supply Chain organization. With a focus on risk management, communication, and process enhancement, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that Collins Aerospace consistently meets—and exceeds—the rigorous standards of FAR/DFARS, AS9100, and other key regulations. What You Will Do: 

  • Manage team of both experienced professionals and team leaders in their duties and the administration of the compliance department
  • Evaluate compliance or operational risk and partner with business leaders to develop risk management strategies
  • Implement process improvements to enhance communication, monitoring, or enforcement of standards to ensure compliance
  • Coordinate and support audits by both internal and external customers. 
  • Ensure purchasing system compliance to USG regulations, AS9100, and others, as well as RTX and Collins policies
  • Typically viewed as a subject-matter-expert within US Government purchasing system compliance
  • Provide expertise and guidance in Supply Chain policies and procedures to support and assist in customer inquiries, reviews, and audits
  • Develop and deploy training and tools to Supply Chain associates
  • Interface with leadership within Supply Chain, across organization, as well as DCAA/DCMA
  • Utilize CORE/continuous improvement tools to determine root cause, corrective action, and apply mistake proofing actions to processes to prevent re-occurrence of escapes 
  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment. Reviews work of others
  • Self-motivated, strong leadership skills, and a demonstrated record of accomplishments using process improvement tools

 

 

Qualifications You Must Have: 

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  •  Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and legal/contract terms and conditions or USG contracting  

 

Qualifications We Prefer: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or other Business-related field
  • Supervisory/leadership experience 
  • Prior experience in Supply Chain, Contracts and/or Compliance 
  • Ability to handle multiple detailed projects simultaneously 
  • Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization 
  • Ability to lead in a collaborative team environment 
  • Ability to lead in a virtual team environment 
  • Demonstrated data analysis capability and excellent written and oral communication skills are required

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
