Job description

Capgemini is seeking a Lead Domain Architect for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.

Job Summary

This position will be the primary technical authority and strategic leader for Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, Dataverse) and Microsoft Copilot Studio within the team. Their core functions will include:

  • Designing, implementing, and managing the governance framework and Center of Excellence (CoE) for Power Platform to empower citizen development while ensuring security and best practices.
  • Leading the architectural design and integration of AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and related Azure AI services.
  • Providing expert guidance on modernizing legacy applications through potential migration to Power Platform or other low-code/no-code solutions.
  • Collaborating with business units and IT teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and innovative solutions on the Power Platform and with AI agents.
  • Driving the adoption of best practices for Azure Automation for PowerShell scripting and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Serving as the subject matter expert for these technologies, mentoring other team members, and staying at the forefront of advancements in these areas.

This Power Platform & AI Architect role is pivotal for our team's strategy to drive innovation through responsible AI adoption and to establish robust governance for our rapidly expanding citizen development on the Power Platform.

The successful candidate will immediately address key challenges, including the governance of Power Platform sprawl, architecting solutions for Microsoft Copilot Studio, and providing strategic input on leveraging low-code/AI for our application modernization efforts.

Requirements

  • 9 years in a similar role with previous engineering and architecture background
  • At least 5 years of experience in MS Power Apps, Power Architecture, Power Platform and Power Automation (Required)
  • Deep Knowledge of Co Pilot Studio (PLUS)
  • Strong Architecture Governance knowledge framework
  • Full English Fluency
  • Bs in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or Similar, master’s degree, Desirable
