Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the IT & Operations departments, covering business operational support, system administration, and IT infrastructure.
Oversee the performance, maintenance, and security of core systems, ensuring optimal uptime and minimal disruption to business operations.
Partner closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support day-to-day operations and future technology enhancements.
Ensure systems and processes comply with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
Drive continuous improvements across IT operations and proactively identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
Provide timely support and solutions to resolve technology issues impacting end-users.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of relevant IT experience
Solid exposure to business operational support, network and system administration, and infrastructure management
Prior experience in a regulated environment (e.g. MiCA, DORA, GDPR, etc.), preferably within financial services, is highly preferred
Technical background, understanding cloud technologies (Saas, PaaS, IaaS), basic AWS knowledge, basic understanding of microservice architecture principles, CI/CD and SDLC understanding
Professional experience in the IT environment - ideally gained experience in IT Service Continuity management and/or Business Continuity Management.
Ability to speak with non-technical colleagues, ability to transform technical risks to business risks and vice versa
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain hands-on when needed
Analytical thinking, ability making business conclusions from technical details
Fluency in English (both written and spoken), Chinese or EU-based language (e.g. Czech) is a plus
