Role Overview: 
The Director of Product Marketing role will lead and define the go-to-market strategy that drives our platform story and vision forward. The ideal candidate thrives in building, testing and implementing go-to-market for platform and solution-oriented strategies. This role will work directly with the release operations in product marketing to define and inform our product launch strategies and solutions marketing approaches. Additionally, we are looking for a candidate that has experience capturing and driving forward sales content and enablement needs to make an impact. We are looking for a product marketer who understands how to scale platform positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategies to accelerate adoption, revenue growth and market leadership. The role will report directly to the VP of Product and Customer Marketing. 
  
Responsibilities:  
  • Develop, own and implement positioning and solutions-focused messaging strategy for the Intelligent Engagement Platform and supporting product areas. 
  • Lead and coordinate messaging needed for content plans to support our platform’s global multi-channel marketing programs and campaigns, reinforcing ON24’s position as an industry leader. 
  • Work with peers in Product Marketing, Customer Success, Demand Generation and Sales to define strategic content plan. 
  • Drive accountability for content KPIs, setting targets and tracking performance and learning. 
  • Partner with Product Marketing Release Operations Lead to ensure product launches are executed with supporting materials.  
  • Build strategic frameworks and playbooks that enable sales success across target audiences and industries. 
  
  
  
Skills & Experience:  
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, GTM strategy, and/or industry solutions marketing 
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying ideas and strategy to leaders across the business  
  • Experience in Martech, webinar & virtual event tools, and/or using ON24 is a plus 
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate with others cross-functionally 
  • Proven success managing and mentoring a team 
  • Passionate about using data to drive decision making and strategies forward 
  • Background building go-to-market, solutions-oriented strategies in key industries and understand buyer profiles across Technology, Financial Services, and Life Sciences 
  • Demonstrated success in building narratives that drive business growth 
  • Strategic mindset with ability to translate a vision into a plan

The base pay range for this position is $175,000 to $185,000. This range is not a guarantee of actual compensation that may be earned nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee, which is always dependent on relevant experience, education, skills, location, and other applicable factors.
