Job description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Associate Engineer for a 6 month contract position in the finance industry with our client in Minneapolis, MN. This role is 100% remote but consultant needs to be flexible to come onsite once every 2-3 months.
Summary:
This project is on the data aggregation team. They have a legacy environment that is on the mainframe with informatica and moving to a new architecture which is AWS as host with terraform as infrastructure as code and primarily taking files, processing files, putting data into files with Lambda, and put data files and into database post pre processing and then using Python and lambda functions and ETL processes.
Need to be a good communicator with their team and other teams as well. Help prevent silos and comfortable reaching out.
Data focused person, cloud engineering aspects, Postgres, python, Kubernetes as the top skill sets, very proficient and able to work on ETL using those tech and to generate the reports.
This project is first to support for brokerage and trust and then future to wealth. They are implanting this new architecture and can potentially expanded and has more opportunities to scale. Tight timelines.
Dev ops knowledge, cloud engineering. And the ability to work in Python code and creating structure for extracting and load file from S3 bucket. Cloud focused.
Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay rate $50.00 to $60.00/Hr
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
