We're seeking a Special Education expert who can both guide students towards life readiness and meticulously manage our IEP program.

This position is tailored for the seasoned SPED teacher. You've managed classrooms and mastered the art of writing, updating, and coordinating IEPs. You know how to keep us compliant while putting students at the forefront. You're Arizona-based and fully certified. Most importantly, you're driven by the desire to engage in meaningful work that truly prepares students for life beyond the classroom.

What You Will Be Doing

• Crafting and managing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in strict accordance with Arizona state standards
• Overseeing accommodations and compliance within a dynamic virtual learning environment
• Conducting lively, real-world virtual workshops on subjects like entrepreneurship, storytelling, or wellness
• Providing one-on-one and small group coaching to SPED students, fostering their confidence, executive skills, and self-direction
• Collaborating with our team to continuously enhance support for exceptional learners

• Working in isolation—you'll be actively involved with students

Learning Coach Key Responsibilities

Drive the creation, implementation, and compliance of all IEPs while engaging students in transformative virtual experiences that build essential life skills.

Basic Requirements

• Arizona residency is required
• Possess a valid Arizona Special Education teaching certification
• At least 3 years of experience in writing and updating IEPs
• Experience in coordinating accommodations and managing SPED compliance
• Experience with students aged 8–14
• Strong virtual communication skills; confidence on camera is crucial
• Availability to begin by July 2025
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven school environment

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
