What You Will Be Doing

  • Engineer and deploy GenAI solutions that eliminate friction points in the sales process, from lead qualification to proposal generation
  • Develop sophisticated AI tools for lead scoring, customer data analysis, sales forecasting, and automated proposal creation that deliver measurable improvements to conversion rates
  • Establish feedback mechanisms from sales teams and customers to continuously refine AI tools, ensuring they consistently exceed performance benchmarks
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify high-impact opportunities where AI can remove obstacles and accelerate deal velocity

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Conducting academic research or theoretical explorations of AI without practical application
  • Implementing basic automation that delivers only marginal improvements to sales processes
  • Focusing on general productivity tools without specific sales applications
  • Managing traditional sales operations without leveraging advanced AI capabilities

Business Development Specialist Key Responsibilities

Transform sales productivity metrics through strategic deployment of cutting-edge AI tools that eliminate inefficiencies and amplify the effectiveness of every customer interaction.

Basic Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in generative AI implementation beyond basic use cases—you've built custom GPTs, automated complex workflows, and deployed AI solutions that delivered measurable business outcomes
  • Minimum 2 years of direct B2B software sales experience with verifiable success metrics
  • Proven ability to translate sales challenges into technical requirements for AI-powered solutions
  • Experience gathering stakeholder feedback and iterating on technology solutions to improve performance

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Experience with sales enablement platforms and CRM customization
  • Background in sales operations or sales engineering
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering and LLM fine-tuning techniques
  • Track record of leading technology adoption initiatives within sales organizations

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
