Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Report Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining insightful BI reports and dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and ensure the availability of accurate and timely data.

Key Responsibilities Of The Business Intelligence Report Developer

Develop and maintain interactive and easy-to-understand BI reports and dashboards using BI tools (Sigma Computing/Snowflake)
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Assist in analyzing data to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights to support business strategies.
Implement data visualization best practices to present complex information clearly and effectively.
Perform data validation and troubleshooting to ensure dashboards and reports function as intended.
Monitor and optimize report performance for improved efficiency.
Provide training and support to end users on how to utilize BI tools and reports effectively.

Qualifications Of The Business Intelligence Report Developer

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent job experience.
1-3 years minimum experience as a BI Report Developer or in a similar role.
1-3 years minimum experience using BI tools such as Sigma Computing, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications Of The Business Intelligence Report Developer

1–3-year minimum experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation (a plus).
Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
Understanding of statistical analysis techniques.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

This position requires prolonged periods of sitting. Requires coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse and other office equipment.
Work in this position will be performed in a remote office environment. This position may require some travel.

The salary range for this role is 90,000 to $100,000 based on experience, skills, and location. We offer full benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k along with this being a remote opportunity.
