Compliance Specialist - Automotive Industry

This is a remote position.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Compliance Specialist to join our remote team in the automotive advertising industry. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our daily operations running smoothly while supporting both internal departments and client needs. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at juggling multiple priorities, and takes pride in being the go-to person who gets things done right the first time.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry & Proofing: Accurately input and maintain data, with a strong focus on numerical precision and attention to detail.

Client Communication: Follow up with clients in a timely and professional manner to gather necessary information, provide updates, and ensure deadlines are met.

Information Management: Collect, organize, and format information for internal teams, preparing it for approvals and next steps.

OEM Compliance Coordination: Ensure that all advertising materials and submissions meet the compliance standards of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with multiple departments to coordinate client requests, obtain approvals, and maintain consistency across deliverables.

Requirements

• Extreme Attention to Detail: Accuracy is everything in this role. Must be meticulous in managing tasks and ensuring accuracy in all work.
  
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot issues independently using creative thinking and ensure follow-through to resolution.
  
• Skilled in Online Research: Proficient in using search engines (e.g., Google) and navigating websites to find accurate and relevant information efficiently.
  
• Strong Written Communication: Clear, professional, and well-proofed emails are essential for communicating with both clients and teammates.
  
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Mac OS or Windows, G-Suite (especially Sheets and Drive), and navigating websites efficiently.
  
• Time & Task Management: Able to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain composure under pressure.
  
• Friendly and Professional Demeanor: Positive attitude, team-first mindset, and an eagerness to contribute.
  
• Client Management: Capable of following up with clients promptly and maintaining positive, professional relationships. You’re comfortable working with a wide range of personalities and understand that communication styles vary. Flexibility and patience go a long way.
  
• Curious, Coachable, and Accountable: Open to learning, taking ownership of your work, and reflecting on ways to improve. You take pride in your work, celebrate wins (even the odd ones!), and learn from missteps to keep getting better. A habit of self-assessment is key to thriving in this role.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in an administrative, operations, or compliance support role.
  
• Familiarity with OEM advertising standards or experience working with OEMs.
  
• Background in automotive advertising or related industries is a plus!
  

Workload Expectations:

• Monthly Cadence: The first half of each month is typically busier —focused on client outreach, information gathering, formatting, and departmental approvals.
  
• Ongoing Work: Throughout the month, you’ll monitor advertising submissions and ensure compliance with OEM guidelines, making updates as needed.

$40,000 - $50,000 (Based on experience)
