Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Examine title reports provided by third party search vendors for Pre-Foreclosure, DIL, and REO purchase transactions
  • Generate a Foreclosure Report reflecting the legal condition of the property and advise the client of (1) potential superior interests that may affect the foreclosure action, (2) title defects and (3) title curative issues that may be required
  • Utilize online search portals for in-house title searches

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 2 years of title examination experience is required
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and efficiency
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication
  • Experience performing paperless title examinations
  • Multi-state examination experience, preferably in some or all of the following states: NY and Florida

Required Education and Training:

  • Associate’s Degree or higher preferred
  • Experience may compensate for education
