Key responsibilities:

Conduct month-end closing procedures and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts regularly.
Prepare and submit reports to stakeholders and assist the Finance team with ad hoc tasks.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8am to 12pm California Time
Responsibilities
Perform daily accounting tasks, including but not limited to reconciling bank statements, processing payables, client monthly billing, managing cash receipts and disbursements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including but not limited to general ledger accounts, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll records.
Prepare and process financial transactions, such as journal entries, depreciation and amortization calculations.
Conduct month-end closing procedures, including analysis of financial statements and reports.
Reconcile all Balance Sheet accounts on a regular basis.
Identify and correct discrepancies in financial records.
Prepare and submit reports to internal and external stakeholders as required.
Maintain confidentiality and function in accordance with US GAAP, procedures and applicable laws.
Assist in tax payments and filing.
Responsible for providing assistance to Finance team on ad hoc tasks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online.
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft 365, Google apps, Asana and other similar applications
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors.
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
