Management Accountant

About the Role:
 We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to take ownership of core financial processes, lead a small finance team, and support the strategic financial direction of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys a hands-on role across reporting, performance analysis, and financial operations.
Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

●       Prepare monthly management accounts including income statements and balance sheets

●       Analyse financial performance across multiple entities and provide actionable insights

●       Identify inefficiencies or anomalies and recommend process improvements

●       Oversee bookkeeping, payroll processing, and VAT filings

●       Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance and accuracy

●       Lead and mentor a small team of 2 Finance Assistants

●       Support budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with senior leadership

●       Ensure financial records and systems are maintained in accordance with regulatory standards

Requirements:

●       Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)

●       Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar role

●       Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls

●       Proficient in using accounting software and Excel (e.g., Sage, Xero, or similar)

●       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

●       Excellent communication and organisational abilities

●       Previous team management or supervisory experience desirable
