The role


We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Marketing Specialist to join our global Student Recruitment team for the Latin American region. This exciting role will have the responsibility of leading and managing all candidate marketing campaigns in the assigned countries: Brazil and Portugal.


To excel in this you will be a strategic and creative marketing professional with a solid background in brand awareness, content strategy, and digital communications. You will be familiar with the latest trends and tools across social media, audience insights, and content marketing, and you’ll use this knowledge to drive impactful campaigns.


Role responsibilities


•    Contribute to regional marketing strategy, budget structuring and planning for candidate marketing activities across the region.
•    Planning and delivering cross-channel marketing campaigns in line with the candidate marketing objectives in Brazil, Portugal and Latin America as requested.
•    Building strategic alliances with key media stakeholders and partners in the region to increase brand visibility of QS portfolio products.
•    Ownership and continuous improvement of cost per acquisition and ROI on marketing spend.
•    Crafting digital and print campaign assets and overseeing paid, email, social media, content and all other candidate marketing campaigns.
•    Running and managing internal and external email marketing campaigns, analysing, and improving email marketing performance as well as running A/B tests.
•    Managing event landing pages, confirmation pages and performance. Implementing SEO strategy for boosting landing pages performance.
•    Collaborating with the design & content team to create compelling marketing copy & creatives to attract local candidates.
•    Working with the social media manager to build a social media strategy for Brazil, Portugal and Latin America that complements the wider activities of the business.
•    Analysing competitive landscape, student recruitment trends and preparing/executing strategic marketing plans.
•    Finding new opportunities for marketing engagement within the region.
•    Collaborating with regional team members to work on their target markets - providing review, and guidance on best interest to candidates and client.
•    Delivering on assigned event targets within the specified budgets.
•    Managing relationships with existing media partners and nurture relationships with businesses that could potentially collaborate with us on events and research projects.
•    Any other duties within the scope and purpose of the role. 



Key skills and experience


•    Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree or related qualification in marketing.
•    Excellent spoken and written communications skills in English and Portuguese.
•    Knowledge and experience of events and B2C marketing within the higher education sector.
•    Previous marketing experience focused on digital, content, email & social media marketing. As well as SEO, Microsoft 365 products and services, paid media,
•    Experienced in writing creative, blogs or other copy in native English and Portuguese.
•    A good understanding of youth and adult consumer culture within the higher education industry in Brazil and Portugal.
•    Experience working with HubSpot, Canva, Adobe, Zoom and other CRM and marketing tools.
•    Creative, passionate, positive, innovative and with the ability to take initiative and multi-task.
•    Open to travel as needed during the events – approx.. 10% travel component.
