Job description

Aras is a leader in product lifecycle management (PLM) and digital thread solutions. As the fastest growing PLM company, our technology enables the rapid delivery of flexible solutions built on a powerful digital thread backbone and a low-code development platform.

Our platform and PLM applications connect users in all disciplines to critical product data and processes across the lifecycle and throughout the extended supply chain. The world’s largest manufacturers are leveraging Aras Innovator to manage their complex product lifecycles to improve production timelines, meet and exceed revenue growth targets, and accelerate innovation. We collaborate with companies in some of the most innovative industries, including automotive, industrial/heavy equipment, aerospace and defense, and high-tech electronics.

Role Overview:

As the Senior Manager of VAR Recruitment & Partner Enablement, you will lead the strategic expansion of Aras’s global Value-Added Reseller (VAR) ecosystem. This role is responsible for identifying, recruiting, onboarding, and scaling high-performing VAR partners to drive revenue growth and market penetration. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Enablement, Legal, and Finance to ensure a seamless partner experience from first contact through long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partner Recruitment: Develop and execute a global VAR recruitment strategy aligned with Aras’s growth objectives. Identify and engage prospective partners through targeted outreach, industry events, and referrals.
  • Partner Evaluation & Selection: Define ideal partner profiles and lead due diligence processes to assess technical capabilities, market reach, and cultural fit.
  • Onboarding & Enablement: Collaborate with Partner Enablement, Training and Product teams to deliver onboarding.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to streamline partner contracting, pricing, and go-to-market execution. Serve as the primary liaison between newly recruited VARs and internal stakeholders.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously refine recruitment and onboarding workflows using feedback from partners and internal teams. Leverage tools to track progress and improve efficiency.
  • Leadership & Influence: Represent Aras to new partners at the executive level.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in partner/channel recruitment, business development, or alliances—preferably in enterprise software or PLM.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling partner ecosystems globally.
  • Strong understanding of VAR business models, sales cycles, and enablement strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with onboarding frameworks and partner lifecycle management tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with PLM platforms (e.g., Aras Innovator, Teamcenter, Windchill).
  • Experience working with international partners and navigating regional compliance.
  • Background in sales operations or partner incentive programs
